Reading Notes: Narayan's Mahabharata Part B

The reading for Part B of Narayan's "Mahabharata", was interesting. I am beginning to dislike Duryodhana even more as I read further and further. I sympathize for the father, Dhritarashtra, sometimes, yet he seems like a fan who can easily be bribed by the words of his son. I thought it was interesting to let fate take control during the game of dice. Although I did think it was foolish for Yudhishthira to gamble his family and even his own wife, who almost had to face humiliation by being stripped down, but thankfully a god heard her and kept her clothed. Even through exile the Pandavas are favored by the gods. I can not wait to see how Arjuna will use the weapons he has obtained from the various gods. I am enjoying this family feud and I wonder how the feud will grow even more between the two families.
