The Greatest Trickster
The Greatest Trickster was an interesting storybook to read. I loved the idea of having the fox which represented a sly trickster within the storybook. I grew up learning about Brer Rabbit and other myths similar to that, so I loved seeing the interesting twists brought to life. What drew my attention was on each different section with the storybook, there was a large picture in the background towards the top which drew my attention and gave an idea as to what I would be reading as I scrolled down. The language used throughout the writing was also excellent. The storybook author kept true to the original language within the myths making it great to read through. Overall, this storybook was an excellent read and much creativity was put into it.

The Weekly Beowulf
The Weekly Beowulf was a unique and extremely creative storybook that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. The storybook brings a modern setting to the tale of Beowulf. Beowulf is being interviewed by the OU Daily about his past battles and life. I loved the idea of interviewing someone from an epic back in history. Reading Beowulf was a great experience and I was glad I was able to experience another person's creativity with their own spin on Beowulf.

Indra Lord of Thunder
This was my favorite storybook out of all the ones I read. First, I have never heard of Indra, Lord of Thunder before, so it was interesting learning about a new god. I loved how the creator incorporated both Zeus and Thor into the myth involving Indra. I absolutely love learning about Norse Mythology so being able to see Thor incorporated into the Indian myth was really interesting. I loved how within the storybook each section had a picture of each of the gods. The first section had a picture of Indra fighting Vritra, while the second section had a picture of Thor, and the third section a huge picture of Zeus. Each of these thunder gods played an important role in different cultures and I thought it was impressive to combine them all together. I definitely am getting ideas from this storybook when creating my own storybook.
